100 new jobs in Dublin and Kildare as 'healthy fast food' chain expands

More than 100 new jobs have been announced for Dublin and Kildare this morning.

An expansion of the self-styled 'healthy fast food' chain Chopped has led to a recruitment drive to fill 110 positions, with a mix of full and part time jobs on offer for chefs, store managers and supervisors.

New restaurants are being opened at a variety of locations including Dublin Airport, The Pavilions Shopping Centre in Swords, Talbot Street and O'Connell Street in Dublin, and Newbridge in Co Kildare.

Chopped - which has won a number of awards for emerging business this year - offers a "create your own salad" experience for customers, with both a dine-in and take-away service.

Aramark, which recently agreed to a five-year partnership with Chopped to expand the healthy fast food chain’s presence in the corporate, education and industry sectors in Ireland, will open and manage the new Chopped outlet at The Loop at Dublin Airport.

“Chopped by Aramark” will create 15 jobs with the opening of the new airside location on October 24. The opening of this location will be the second Chopped outlet managed by Aramark.

In addition to the new Chopped airport outlet, four other outlets will open over the next month in the Pavilions Shopping Centre in Swords, O’Connell Street, Talbot Street and in the Whitewater Shopping Centre in Newbridge, Co. Kildare.

The new restaurants will join 13 existing Chopped outlets in Dublin.
