One hundred jobs have been announced for Sligo and Dublin this morning.
Fifty jobs are to be created in Sligo at the biopharmaceutical giant AbbVie's plant in Ballytivnan, as part of a €40m investment. The company already employs 500 people at five different locations around the country.
The new jobs will be focused on devices that deliver AbbVie's medicines to patients around the world.
Meanwhile, another 50 people are being hired in Dublin for the new European headquarters of software services company Wrike. The investment is supported through IDA Ireland.
Wrike has its headquarters in California.
