No cuts to weekly social welfare payments; child benefit cut by €10
There will be no cuts to weekly social welfare payments.
However, child benefit, as expected, will be cut by €10 per month.
The jobseekers benefit duration will also be cut by three months.
There will be an increase of 10,000 in the number of placements across labour market activation schemes from the Department of Social Protection.
