Woman rescued after getting stuck between buildings

A US woman has been freed after she got stuck between two buildings.

Firefighters were called upon in Portland to get the woman out of her tricky situation after she slid between a narrow opening measuring between eight and 10 inches wide.

The emergency services cut a hole in the concrete and used a lubricant and an air bag to help get her out.

After spending around four hours wedged in the small gap, the woman - who was stuck around four feet above the ground in the narrow opening - shouted: "Oh, my God!" as she celebrated her escape.
