Unpaid gas bill sees end to 'Eternal Flame'


Kyrgyzstan's “Eternal Flame” war memorial has been snuffed out because its gas bill was not paid for three years.

A power company in the economically struggling former Soviet nation’s capital Bishkek says it is owed around €8,500.
