.

'Fake Shower' – which can be downloaded for free on the App Store – plays a recording of a shower running to cover up any sounds which might be emanating from a person doing their business.

The product description on iTunes states: "Many people turn on the faucet or shower only to prevent [others] from hearing the 'sounds of nature' in the bathroom.

"Water [is] wasted everywhere - clean, treated, expensive and scarce water. With Akatu Fake Shower, [a] couple's intimacy is saved, and so is water."
