Man welcomes three generations to family in three months
A British man has become a new dad, granddad and a great-granddad within three months.
Patrick Sloan has become a dad for the fourth time 28 years after his third child was born. His 18-year-old granddaughter Fern gave birth to his great-granddaughter shortly after his latest child was welcomed into the world.
The 60-year-old's daughter Odette then gave birth to a healthy baby boy, Leonard, 12 days later.
Patrick, a nursing manager, said: "All three boys are fantastic. I’m sure there are people who think my situation is very odd. I agree it’s not that conventional but I wouldn’t swap it for the world.
"Ethan has given me a new lease of life and is my pride and joy. And to have a new grandson and my first great-grandchild at the same time is the icing on the cake."
Patrick previously went into hospital to have his vasectomy reversed so that he could have more kids.
