A Barack Obama lookalike is earning more than $1,000 a time in the run-up to the president’s inauguration.

Larry Graves is averaging about two to three requests each week in the run-up to the inauguration.

Mr Graves began after realising he had a peculiar resemblance to Mr Obama.

He adds makeup, darkens his eyebrows and lips, adds a prosthetic mole to the side of his nose and dusts a little white paint into his hair.
