The first gorilla born at a zoo has celebrated her 56th birthday.

Colo, who was born in 1956, resides in Columbus Zoo, Ohio, was treated to a cake made by her zookeepers, as well as her regular favourite snack - tomatoes - and she was given gifts which she managed to open herself.
