Couple get 27 toasters as wedding gifts

A recently married couple received 27 toasters as wedding presents.

Mike and Victoria Seymour told their guests they did not want any wedding gifts as they had already lived together for so long.

But they must have some pranksters for friends as when they hosted their reception in Nottingham, England, two weeks ago after getting married in Mexico they found they had been bought 27 of the appliances.

They told Mail Online: "We deliberately didn't send out a wedding list.

"We didn't want presents. We've lived together for seven years and have everything we need.

"When some friends insisted, we said perhaps they could get us vouchers.

"But then we made the mistake of saying, off hand: "We don't need anything more... especially not a toaster'."
