Brazil bookshops remove 'Fifty Shades of Grey'

'Fifty Shades of Grey' has been removed from bookshops in a Brazilian city.

The erotic novel – which was penned by E.L. James - was ruled too raunchy to be sold in the stores in Macae, so Judge Raphael Queiroz Campos has banned bookshops from having the tome on display.

After spotting kids reading the X-rated material, he stated the popular book was "improper for those under the age of 18", but some copies have now been placed in sealed packaging and put out of the reach of those under age.
