Man rescued from Baily Lighthouse

The man is being treated in Beaumont Hospital

A man has been rescued after falling onto rocks while fishing at Baily Lighthouse in Dublin.

The incident happened last night and Dublin Fire Brigade Paramedics were called to the scene.

However, they were unable to reach the man due to the awkward location and the Howth Coast Guard Cliff Rescue team and Howth inshore Lifeboat were dispatched.

Emergency services transferred the man to Beaumont Hospital where he is being treated for head injuries.
