Four hospitalised following Cork motorway crash

Three women and a man have been treated in hospital after a car crash in Cork this morning.
The collision between a car and lorry happened at 6.20am near the toll plaza on the M8, between the Rathcormac and Watergrasshill junctions.
The occupants of the car - three women and a man in their 20s and 30s, all from Eastern Europe - were rushed to Cork University Hospital.
Three of the four crash victims are understood to have sustained more serious injuries. However their exact condition is not known.
Gardaí said they expect the road to remain closed for a number of hours.
