South Korea: Four dead in apparent group suicide
02/06/2011 - 12:13:30Four South Koreans have been found dead in an apparent group suicide.
Police say the bodies of two men and two women in their 20s were found today in a parked van in Seongju, about 190 miles south-east of Seoul.
Police say a suicide note was found.
South Korea has one of the world’s highest suicide rates and the highest in the developed world.
Earlier this year, four students at a top South Korean science university killed themselves, allegedly due to distress over tough academic programmes.
