US version of 'I'm A Celebrity' lining up Price appearance

Katie Price is being lined up to appear on the US edition of ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’.
The glamour model – who is currently appearing on the UK show for the second time – will be offered £300,000 by network NBC in order to get her on the show, as they believe she would be a massive ratings hit.
US show producer Jayson Dinsmore said: “As far as we’re concerned, it’s move over Paris Hilton, here comes Katie.
“She would be sensational on our show.”
Show chiefs are reportedly so keen to get Katie to appear they are even prepared to reschedule the programme to fit in with her schedule.
A source told The Sun newspaper: “NBC is prepared to re-arrange scheduling to get Katie. Love her or hate her, they’ve seen the incredible impact she’s had on British viewers and want her to sprinkle some of that magic dust.
“It would help launch her in America – which is what she wants.”
While US producers are desperate to land Katie for their show, UK bosses face a battle to stop the brunette beauty from walking out.
After Katie was told yesterday by hosts Ant and Dec she would have to face her fourth consecutive Bushtucker Trial, she wept: “Jog on. I can’t do it. I’ve had enough.”
She later added: “I think the public want to give me a bad time. You can’t take it personally but it’s hard not to. They’ve seen me battered for the last few days, let someone else have a go.”
Worried production staff are now determined to keep the star from quitting in order to ensure ratings for the show stay high.
A source said: “Whether you want to see her suffer or feel sorry for her, people are tuning in. It’s vital we keep her in as long as possible.”
