Brady: We would play again in Paris to settle this

19/11/2009 - 10:24:46
Liam Brady says the Irish team would be willing to go to Paris and play the French again to ensure a fair outcome to the World Cup play-off.

Thierry Henry handled the ball before the goal in extra-time that gave the French a 2-1 aggregate win.

Former Ireland international Frank Stapleton said the decision would just have to be accepted, as hard as that was, but that it would take "a long, long time to get over it".
