Two held in connection with Kilkenny 'tiger' raid
Gardaí have arrested two men in connection with the false imprisonment of a bank official and his family in Kilkenny earlier this month.
An armed gang held the family of bank official and former Kilkenny hurler Adrian Ronan hostage on November 3 in an attempt to steal €3m from the Bank of Ireland.
Two men, aged 28 and 36, were arrested yesterday evening and are being held at Kilkenny Garda station under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act.
