Met Eireann issue warning to motorists
18/11/2009 - 09:33:51Motorists are being urged to take extreme care on the country's roads following heavy rainfall overnight.
Parts of Galway, Clare, Roscommon, Leitrim and Longford are the worst affected by the wet weather and flooding.
Met Eireann estimates that between 25 and 40 milimetres of rain could fall later today.
Met Eireann said the west and south west will get the worst of today's rain.
