FG defends plan to cut employers PRSI
18/11/2009 - 08:58:49Fine Gael is defending its plan to cut employers PRSI by between 20 to 50%.
The €900m tax cut for employers would be funded by higher taxes on employee wages and through the carbon tax.
The party said it could create 30,000 new jobs.
Fine Gael's finance spokesman Richard Bruton said the plan would help prevent further job losses and boost business confidence.
