Survey: One in four Irish firms have cut pay

Figures released today show that Irish workers have been hardest hit in Europe with pay cuts and redundancies.

A worldwide study by Watson Wyatt shows a quarter of Irish firms have cut pay, and 61% have laid off staff.

The group surveyed 700 companies across the EU.
