Brian King stunned Derry with a late winner at the Brandywell tonight as Drogheda stretched their unbeaten run to six games.
The only goal came on 87 minutes when the little midfielder got his head to a cross from the left to beat Ger Doherty.
The defeat, Derry's second on the spin, sees them lose second spot in the table to Shamrock Rovers.
