Slight loss for ISEQ
30/06/2009 - 18:24:18The ISEQ index endured a small loss today, inching down 17.78 points to 2,706.08.
Irish Life and Permanent was the star performer, growing 26c to €3.63. Elsewhere in the financial sector, Allied Irish Bank was up 3c to €1,72, with Bank of Ireland down 3c to €1.69.
The other big gain of the day came for Kerry Group, which improved 16c to €16.26.
Elsewhere however, there were several significant losses. DCC declined 25c to €14.70, the biggest loss of the day.
Tullow Oil (down 17c to €11.03), Kingspan (down 13c to €4), Elan (down 12c to €4.87) and FBD (down 10c to €7.15) have all had better days.
