Iseq dips 32 points in early trading

The Irish Stock Exchange has slipped 32 points in morning trading to stand at 2,716.5 by 11am.

In a negative start, the main faller has been construction firm CDH who saw their share price tumble 38c to €17.19. Rivals Grafton and Kingspan were also in negative territory with 15c and 16c falls to €2.66 and €4.70 respectively.

The financials fared a little better with only slight falls. AIB and Irish Life and Permanent were down two cents to €1.33 and 3.27 respectively, while Bank of Ireland slipped five cents to €1.56.

Elsewhere, stocks were falling at shipping group Irish Continental, down 14c to €10.41, food group Kerry, down 16c to €16.68 and drinks firm C&C, down 10c to €2.18.
