Waterford hurling duo to start for footballers
Waterford boss John Kiely has succeeded in securing the services of dual stars Gary Hurney and Shane Walsh for Sunday’s Munster SFC tie against Cork.
Hurney and Walsh had combined commitments with the senior hurling and football squads during this season's national league campaigns.
However, the Deise are not making their Munster SHC bow until June 14, so the pair have been declared available for the footballers on Sunday.
Waterford have injury worries over Jason Seward (knee) and Sean O’Hare (finger).
