McCarthy happy to continue with current Cork panel

Gerald McCarthy says he is happy to continue with the new panel he has assembled in the face of the Cork hurlers' strike.

The manager watched his side lose by 0-14 to 0-9 against Waterford IT in the Waterford Crystal Cup yesterday.

Speaking afterwards, he said he was legitimately selected as the Cork coach and it was his job to manage the players who want to play for the county.
