Fakenham gets go-ahead
12/01/2009 - 07:38:34This afternoon’s meeting at Fakenham goes ahead after the track passed an early morning inspection.
Clerk of the course David Hunter reports the track to be raceable after a milder spell of weather.
He said: “We had evening temperatures of as low as six degrees but temperatures were up to nine degrees yesterday.
“The forecast is for more mild weather today but with strong winds and persistent rain due to start any time now.
“The ground is still good to soft, good on the back straight but obviously we will assess that as the day continues.”
