Crown and out blues worry Scolari

12/01/2009 - 07:41:35
Luiz Felipe Scolari has admitted Chelsea are not playing well enough to win anything.

The Blues slumped to a 3-0 defeat at Manchester United yesterday that leaves them four points adrift of table-toppers Liverpool and only one in front of Alex Ferguson’s men, who have two games in hand.

A whispering campaign against the Brazilian is starting to gain momentum and the fact Jose Mourinho was at Old Trafford yesterday only fuelled comparison with what has gone before.

Scolari insists he takes full responsibility and acknowledged Chelsea must improve quickly.

“We are not playing well enough to win any tournament at present,” he said.

“The title has not been won or lost. We have another 17 matches to play yet, so who knows what will happen. But if we play three or four more matches like this one we will not win anything.”
