ISEQ slightly down
12/01/2009 - 17:26:23The ISEQ index of Irish shares closed at 2,641.48 this evening, a drop of 44.66 points or 1.66%.
Most of the major banks enjoyed increases. AIB was up 4c to €2.16, Anglo Irish Bank was up 4c to 32c and Irish Life & Permanent was up 21c to €2.68. Bank of Ireland was down 1c to 94c however.
Elsewhere, notable fallers were CRH, down €1.11 to €18.89, and Elan, down 41c to €5.95.
