Man critical after Limerick assault
22/11/2008 - 08:38:23A man is in a critical condition in hospital after being assaulted in Limerick city.
The incident happened at around a quarter to six yesterday evening in the Michael Street area.
It's understood the man, who's in his 20s and from the south side of the city, was attacked by a group of men.
He is being treated at the Mid Western Regional Hospital in Dooradoyle where his condition is said to be critical.
