FG campaign kicks off in Wexford

Fine Gael is mounting an early start to next year's local and European elections at its national conference in Wexford Town.

Leader Enda Kenny has lashed out at the Government for what he says is its complete lack of direction and leadership during the current economic downturn.

The health service, crime and job creation will also be up for discussion at this weekend's conference.

The party's Finance Spokesperson Richard Bruton will address delegates later today while Enda Kenny will make his televised address tonight.
