Rovers look to keep up unbeaten run
Shamrock Rovers v Bray Wanderers
Shamrock Rovers will be looking to maintain their unbeaten start to the season when they entertain Eddie Gormley's Bray Wanderers to Tolka Park tonight, kick-off 8.00pm.
Rovers have started the season well with victory over Drogheda United and a draw with Cork City in their opening encounters.
Bray, on the other hand, had a decent start drawing with Cork but were very disappointing at home last weekend where they were easily beaten by UCD.
Rovers are without club captain Aidan Price, striker Padraig Amond and Chris Mulhall, while Dessie Baker and Danny O’Connor are slight doubts.
Chris Mulhall is out with a cartilage injury, while long-term casualties Aidan Price and Padraig Amond remain sidelined.
Tadhg Purcell returns after serving a one-match suspension.
"Chris has a cartilage problem and could be out for a while," said Hoops boss Pat Scully.
"On the positive side we will have Tadhg Purcell back in the squad.
"Both Dessie Baker and Danny O’Connor have been suffering from the vomiting bug and missed training earlier in the week but we’re hopeful that both will be available."
Paddy Kavanagh returns for Bray after suspension, but Andy Myler is ruled out with a groin injury and joins Kevin Doherty and Derek Foran on the injury list.
