One man arrested after Limerick drugs seizure

Two kilograms of heroin and a small quantity of cocaine have been seized by gardaí in Limerick.

The drugs were found during a search of a house in the Moyross area of the city at about midday today.

A 36-year-old man was arrested at the scene and was this evening being detained under section 2 of The Drug Trafficking Act at Henry St garda station.

The drugs have an estimated street value of €500,000.
