Allen used mother's credit card to buy handbag
21/03/2008 - 08:24:39British pop star Lily Allen loves designer labels so much, she once stole her mum's credit card and splashed out on a $1,800 (€1,164) handbag.
The 'Smile' hitmaker loved fashion as a teenager but as she didn't have the money to fund her label obsession, she took her mother's card and used it to purchase a luxurious Marc Jacobs handbag.
And the singer's mum was so furious, she made sure her daughter pay back all the money.
The star, now 22, says: "When I was 18 I went round (London department store) Harvey Nichols with my mum's credit card. I got a £900 Marc Jacobs handbag. She made me pay it all back."
