Carrey's depression book a 'joke'
18/03/2008 - 08:09:27Jim Carrey was joking when he announced he's writing a book about depression, according to his publicist.
In a recent interview, the actor claimed he found prescription drugs didn't help him beat the blues and that he is currently penning a self-help guide to combat depression.
But Carrey's publicist is baffled - because it's the first she has heard of a book.
She tells PageSix.com: "There is no deal with a publisher in place, and he's not actually writing a book. That is not in the plans for the immediate future."
