Timberlake seeks baseball tips for movie role
22/02/2008 - 10:16:13Justin Timberlake is hoping to meet the members of a US minor league baseball team - to pick up tips for his upcoming role as a baseball player.
The 27-year-old pop star is set to portray fictional baseball player Carlton Garrett in forthcoming film 'The Open Road', and has asked to meet with the Houston Astros' Double-A team in Texas to gather information for the part.
Hooks President J.J. Gottsch says: "Justin wants to portray what it's like playing for the Hooks, playing for an Astros minor league team and playing at Whataburger Field."
