‘Stardust’ perfect family viewing
22/02/2008 - 19:41:46Apart from ‘Harry Potter’ and ‘The Lord of the Rings’, few fantasy adventures hit the right spot. ‘Stardust’, however, comes pretty close.
Tristan (Charlie Cox) tries to capture the heart of the lovely Sienna Miller by setting out to find a fallen star.
But the star turns out to be Yvaine (Claire Daines), whose special powers are threatened by a wicked witch (Michelle Pfeiffer) who is anxious to find eternal youth.
Enter pirate Robert De Niro, who helps Tristan and Yvaine avoid disaster in a beautiful tale which is perfect family viewing.
