Top doctor slams HSE failure on A&E waiting times
02/01/2008 - 07:34:36One of Ireland's leading doctors is accusing the HSE of failing to cut accident and emergency waiting times.
The President of the Irish Association of Emergency Medicine says the executive has refused to implement its own task force report aimed at solving the A&E crisis.
In a letter to the HSE, Dr Fergal Hickey also accused Professor Brendan Drumm of lacking expertise and being ignorant of the issues involved in emergency medicine.
