Ireland manager summit begins
30/11/2007 - 16:06:12A meeting was being held today to discuss the search for Steve Staunton's successor as Republic of Ireland manager.
Four members of the Football Association of Ireland's board of management were meeting members of the panel put together to orchestrate the recruitment process.
The association will outline the conditions and requirements for the position to the panel while discussing other issues which may arise.
A statement on the association's website, fai.ie, said: "Following the meeting, the recruitment panel will take charge of the next stage in the process."
