Man recovering after being stabbed in back in Cork
30/11/2007 - 11:32:56A man is recovering in hospital today after being stabbed during an incident in Cork city.
The victim, believed to be in his 30s and from eastern Europe, suffered a number of stab wounds to his back, but his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.
He managed to flag down a passing motorist on the Middle Glanmire Road at around 9.30am.
Gardaí have sealed off the scene of the incident pending a technical examination.
