Gardaí check missing persons list after Clare body find
30/11/2007 - 07:37:40Gardaí in Co Clare are to check missing persons lists in an effort to establish the identity of a body recovered near Tulla yesterday.
The skeletal remains were discovered at Lough Bridget by a local fisherman.
Gardaí say the body was too badly decomposed to determine its identity or gender.
The scene of the discovery has been preserved as a crime scene, though gardaí say they are keeping an open mind until they receive the results of a post mortem examination.
