Man hurt in Dublin stabbing

One man was taken to hospital tonight after apparently suffering stab wounds in an attack.

Gardaí were called to a flat on Main Street, Rush, Co Dublin shortly before 7pm where the man was found with injuries.

An ambulance was also called to the scene and took the man to hospital.

A Garda spokesman could not confirm the extent of the man’s injuries or how they were inflicted, but it is believed the non-Irish national suffered a stab wound.

The scene has been cordoned off for a forensic examination.

No arrests have been made.
