The Wildcats were within three points of their visitor’s on the opening weekend of the season but they were to find the second test a much tougher proposition. Michelle Aspell was one of Wildcats’ shining lights with 16 points.
DCU Mercy proved far too strong for a Tolka Rovers side still looking for their first win of the season. Mark Ingle’s Mercy charges were 77-28 victors over Tolka on the opening day of the season and followed it up with an 87-38 demolition. Ireland’s Lydnsay Peat enjoyed a successful night with 24 points.
