Spice Girls to fly for free
04/11/2007 - 13:29:12The Spice Girls will save a fortune flying around the world on their upcoming reunion tour - Virgin Atlantic founder Richard Branson has offered them an exclusive pass.
The British billionaire will cover the expense of all the group's Virgin Atlantic flights himself, because he still feels he owes the five-piece for signing with his Virgin record label 12 years ago.
He says: "I got to know them at that time. We released their first single, Wannabe, back in 1996."
The Spice Girls reunion tour will begin in Vancouver, Canada on 2 December and end in February.
