Roberts: 'I would never make it in the modern movie industry'
01/11/2007 - 11:04:52Hollywood actress Julia Roberts insists she would never have made it in the industry today - because movie critics have become more scathing.
The 40-year-old star believes life is much harder for the likes of Lindsay Lohan and Keira Knightley because the modern day movie industry is much more cut-throat.
Roberts says: "I think I came along at a kinder time in the business. It wasn't about fashion and there weren't so many media outlets.
"You could really cultivate your work a little more gently."
