PDFORRA alleges victimisation of elected officials
10/10/2007 - 07:34:27The union that represents members of the Defence Forces claims its elected officials are being victimised in the job.
PDFORRA claims some of these officials have had negative comments written about them in their confidential annual reports regarding their representative duties.
The organisation, which is holding its annual conference today, is threatening to take the matter to the courts if moves are not made to deal with the problem.
It wants to meet Defence Minister Willie O'Dea to draw up procedures for disciplining those involved.
