Aer Lingus plans legal action over Ryanair shareholding

Aer Lingus has announced plans to take legal action in an effort to force Ryanair to sell its shares in the recently privatised airline.

A statement from the company claims Ryanair has pursued every tactic to prevent the development of Aer Lingus as a competitive force.

Aer Lingus says it will be making an application to the courts in the coming weeks.
