28/09/2007 - 14:37:20
Galway United host St Patrick’s Athletic in this evening's eircom League of Ireland Premier Division clash at Terryland Park, kick-off 7.45pm.

United go into the game without a few regulars. Derek O'Brien misses his first game of the season through suspension. Also out through suspension are Stephen O'Flynn, Wes Charles and John Lester.

Daryl Robson is out with an ankle injury sustained in training. Scans have revealed no break but he is expected to be sidelined for a couple of weeks.

Regi Nooitmeer picked up a groin strain two weeks ago and he is rated at 50-50 for the game. He will have another fitness check today to access his availability.

Boss Tony Cousins will draft in a couple of Under-21 players, Cathal Fahy and Tommy Walsh. Billy Clery will also be added to the squad. Clery retired from competitive football during the summer but there was an arrangement made that he would act as cover in the event he was needed.

For Saints, Colm Foley has medial knee ligament damage and is out for a number of weeks.

Joseph Ndo is carrying an injury but should be fit to play while Anto Murphy returns from suspension.
