Bouma in line for Villa return
Aston Villa defender Wilfred Bouma is poised to return after injury for the Barclays Premier League clash with Spurs at White Hart Lane.
The Holland international missed the shock Carling Cup exit at the hands of Leicester with an ankle injury suffered in the early stages of the win over Everton last weekend.
Gabriel Agbonlahor could partner Luke Moore up front with John Carew sidelined for four to six weeks with knee ligament damage sustained against the Toffees.
Midfielder Shaun Maloney picked up an ankle knock against Leicester which makes him a doubt. Scott Carson, Martin Laursen and Ashley Young are set to return after being rested against Leicester.
