Unions and HSE meet to discuss recruitment freeze
28/09/2007 - 13:44:02Health service unions are meeting HSE officials again today to discuss the controversial recruitment freeze imposed in an effort to cut costs.
The HSE recently announced the move in an effort to claw back a €250m budget overspend.
It says the measure is temporary and will be reviewed next week.
Unions say it will damage patient care.
