Survey finds widespread satisfaction with health service

Patient satisfaction with the health service is at its highest level ever, according to a survey commissioned by the HSE.

The research found that a large majority of patients are happy with the standard of care they receive.

90% of in-patients and 85% of out-patients said they were satisfied with their treatment.

Elsewhere, 97% of the 3,500 people involved said they were satisfied with the care provided by their GP.
